Today we worked on paragraph edits and a new vocabulary list.
After we read aloud from The Watson's Go to Birmingham - 1963, and discussed how setting was a factor in the main character's thoughts and actions. Grade 6s are answering the same question this week for their book club novels.
Book club - weekly chapters, 2 chapter summaries and 2 response questions all due for Thursday morning.
Math
6 - Adding Whole Numbers
7 - Adding Integers, p. 194-195 #5, 8-10, 13, 14, 16, plus Mathletics.
Science
Projects are due tomorrow. We'll start presentations this week.
Social Studies
Today we had an internet safety presentation in place of social studies.
