Wednesday, September 16

It was great to be back at school with the students today.  It's been a long time.

Today we discussed the new routines, expectations, and policies at school this year (safety, recess, lunch, etc...), and watched a few slideshows on safety and what to expect in the classroom this year.

We talked about cohorting, physical distancing, wearing masks, and hand hygiene.

Students worked on a one-pager assignment to help me get to know them better.

After lunch we worked on some math problems and had a discussion about a poem called, "You Can't Write a Poem About McDonalds."

Reminder to all students to please bring a book to read tomorrow.
