**The numeration test will assess student understanding of the following...

• Read and write whole numbers to one hundred thousand and decimal numbers to thousandths
• Order and compare whole numbers to a million and decimal numbers to thousandths
• Place value from a million to decimal thousandths
• Round whole numbers to a million and decimal numbers to hundredths and tenths

Science

Today we discussed a project where students will plan, design, and construct an electrical devices that performs a useful purpose.  Students will work in pairs.  I have reconsidered the project and have decided that students will build one of four possible devices (a flashlight, a desk fan, a game show buzzer, or a toy with a motor).  We will revise the expectations next time we meet for Science.
